Mary is one of Australia’s most accomplished senior researchers, with extensive experience covering client side, academia and consulting. While equally at home with qualitative and quantitative research, she is always guided by Einstein’s maxim “everything that can be counted does not necessarily count; everything that counts cannot necessarily be counted.” Her real love is in qualitative research, creating the atmosphere where people feel free to express themselves, unearthing what resonates, and recognising those issues that weren’t on the radar because no-one predicted they would be important. Her skill is to make sense of what this all means for the client, and overlaying a broader market perspective garnered from many divergent industries.
